wow, its been like 6 months since I wrote one of these...

I got acrylics for christmas! well, there's no black. who makes a paint set without black? but anyway, yay! I also got some plaster and clay and other fun things, so expect randomness in mediums BESIDES WATERCOLOR. OMG.

planning a whole bunch of photoshoots with ~SangdeFee and my lovely photographers, so that's exciting ^ ^

yay summer. time for laziness and occasionally art.

this happens to be the end of the first week where not much was planned, and its been lovely. i only have 2 more to go that don't have some weeklong thing oh well some of it will be awesome!

wow am i lucky i never promised monthly journal entries or something crazy like that.

anyways. i went to the peabody essex museum!!!!
it was awesome, to say the least. i hope we go back in may for the modern art exhibit.
favorites were definitely the Indian and Korean art. Indian because it was the coolest and had plenty of stories about the gods depicted, korean because it was clean and simple and had lots of symbols. also enjoyed the propoganda posters for ocean liners.

it would have been significantly more enjoyable if i was the only person IN the museum, but whatever. everyone's stewing now, and snappish. we don't do outings very well.
but definitely a day well spent!

now back to school. ugh. i feel like i forgot some vitally important long-term project.

getting into more abstract stuff. making art look like real life is what cameras are for.

i got corel!!!!  which is like photoshop! but apparently simpler!!  COOLEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!  expect random computer art soon, bad because i've never tried it before.  sooo much fun. *squee!* unfortunately it doesnt work on the main computer, only the one that i can only use occasionally.  why you ask? because this one is too ancient to actually play DVD format, thats why.  oh well.
